Arboretum Fall Festival

Of course we made our annual trip out to the Arboretum with Jacob this year. By now, we were very familiar with the drill and set out to play immediately.

We spent most of our time this year in the big field. We ran around, got our faces painted, and played a REALLY long time in the hay. I was so happy with my facepaint ("I'm a beautiful butterfly, Mommy!") until a lady asked me on the way out, "what happened to you, little girl?". I got scared and kept asking Mommy, "what happened to me, Mommy?!" until she washed it off when we got home.
