The Letter of the Day Is ... B

B is for Busy, which we have definitely been these last few weeks. I have lots to catch you up on, so I hope you have a few minutes!

Playing dress-up in Mommy's shirt and ankle socks ...
I mean dress and thigh-highs

I am SO the king of this mountain

B is for Babies, specifically my playgroup friends getting together at the park to play one afternoon. There were wagon rides, Jeep escorts, and see-saws to play! My playgroup also came over a couple of weeks after that for a playgroup at my house; it was chaos, but in a fun way. It sure is going to be harder to keep us all wrangled as everyone becomes more mobile!

See-saw!

Don't forget to hydrate!

B is for Birthday, which was Abby's birthday party at Petland. We got to check out lots of animals and pet them, too. Well, when I say "we", of course I don't mean "me" ... but I did love the fish and went home with my very own Betta fish. I love to feed him and always want to make sure he's eaten before I'll eat my breakfast for snack. I also missed Evan's birthday party this past weekend because I had a fever and didn't want my present to her to be whatever it is that I had (that never really manifested into anything except for an attitude, back sleeping habits, and crankiness).

I liked the fish

Not so keen on the puppy though (to Daddy's relief)

B is for Babydoll, one that I'm borrowing from Mommy right now. I recently became very interested in babies, but Mommy hasn't been able to find me the "perfect" babydoll yet, so she's letting me borrow one of her babydolls from when she was a little girl.

Babydoll!

Does Baby want a paci?

B is for the Bangs that I finally got because my hair was getting ridiculous. Since my hair is up most of the time, you can't really tell that I look like a sheepdog if no one does my hair in the morning. But after watching me stumble around and push hair out of my eyes all the time, Mommy and Daddy decided it was just time. They're a little shorter than what we thought I would get, but they'll grow out. Besides, all Chinese babies need to get the bowl cut at some point in their lives ... I'm just getting my episode out of the way early!

The Before

The After
Can't tell that I cried through the whole thing, huh?

What? Of course I can still do pigtails!

B is for Bed -- my Big Girl Bed! Since I sleep on a normal bed most of the time anyways, Daddy converted my crib to my toddler bed this weekend to see how I like it. It's fun, but I don't see how it's going to fit all three of us on there.

Sure, I'll climb on here as long as I don't have to sleep here, too!

B is for "Bapple" which is just one of my words right now. You can see this and me sharing other words and animal noises on a video Mommy's trying to upload. It's really long and has an unsightly vacuum handle in the back. Sorry.

Bapple!

B is for Big Sister ... I'm going to be one in the next few months! Mommy has a Baby in her tummy right now, and my baby brother or sister should be here either at the end of the year or early next year. Depending on how things go, you may see a posting that's "J is for Jealousy" right about then. For now, though, there's no difference except all the evenings that Mommy asks for me to play with her in my playroom while she lays on the ground. :) Ms. Tricia returned my swing this week -- I guess the twins are done with them -- in plenty of time for Pee-nut to get here, so of course I climbed right in. Look at how much I've grown!

Finally, B is for Bunches, as in there are bunches of more pictures in my June album if you want to take a look!

The other had an unfortunate accident

Congratulations Big Sister!!! That jealousy thing is just your way of showing your mommy and daddy how much you love them :) I like the bangs, especially with the pigtails!
