The man who knows the answer to life the universe and everything
Since we were up anyways, we headed to the park after breakfast to play before the Texas heat melted us into the sidewalk. I made Daddy a special wood chip soup and let him push me around on the playground. Even though we went early, it still got really hot by the time we got home, so we cooled off with popsicles.
That afternoon, we went to IKEA where I got a fun, fun tunnel that I love. Lots of the other babies in my playgroup have the same one, and I'm so happy I have one of my own now, too!
For dinner, we had one of Daddy's favorite meals: anything on the grill. He fired it up, and we made lots of shih-ka-bobs.
Yum!
Thanks for being an awesome Daddy! I'm so glad you're mine.

i'm glad you're mine, too, claire (even when you get up in the middle of the night)!
Those tunnels are so fun! I love to play games with them with some of the kiddos I get to play with. Hope you still like it by the time I get to Dallas to play with you next time! I wish I could have been there for dinner. Looks Yummy! Happy Father's Day James!
Still catching up on the cutest blog ever...I LOVED my tunnel, so glad they didn't go the way of the play pen. I was afraid I might have to look through dog-agility stores to find one. I remember ours was stored next to the fridge and was a terrific addition to any fort.
