Egg Hunts and Cousin James

With Easter comes Egg Hunts, and Mommy sure was excited about me getting to participate in them this year. Unfortunately, the day of the neighborhood egg hunt -- the one Mommy's been looking forward to since we moved into the neighborhood, way before I was even around -- we were at home home because I caught the dreaded "school stomach virus". It was awful. Pretty much every kid in my class caught this stomach bug that made us throw up for one day then have the poopsies for days after that.

Daddy and Mommy entertained me by pushing me around in my car inside

The next week was my egg hunt at school. That was lots of fun because Daddy and Mommy both came up to visit with me. I immediately knew to pick up eggs and put them in my basket, but I couldn't understand why they would all disappear when I bent over to pick up another one! Afterwards, we went with Sofia and her mommy to the lake to get some more outdoors action in and to say hi to the ducks.

I could swear this egg was just in my basket

That weekend, we went to Austin so that we could finally meet my cousin James. He was born in January, but between me being sick and everything else going on, it didn't all come together until now. On the way down to Austin, we stopped at a Burger King so that I could play and get something to eat. Yum!

And on the way back up again

Cousin James is quite cute, and I can't wait until next year when he's as mobile as I am now and we can really play! Auntie Christina and George Shu-Shu seem to be settling into parenthood quite well and didn't bat an eye when I proceeded to tear about their house with all my craziness.

I wanted to climb on him to give him a kiss, but they kept saying no

I'm scared of anything that moves that's not a person.

There's more pics of both the egg hunts and Cousin James in my April album. Enjoy!
