April Was...Birthdays

April continued with more of the Spring birthdays.

Emily Turns 4
Emily celebrated with a princess party. Emily always has the best themed parties, and this year was no different. The princess was Princess Tiana from "Princess and the Frog", and we had all things Creole. So fun!

Grant Turns 2
Grant had a fun, fun petting zoo for his birthday plus his awesome playset. It was pretty shocking to see goats, rabbits, and chickens in his backyard, but I really liked it after I warmed up to the idea. Did you know baby chicks come in orange, green, and purple?!

Logan Turns 2
Logan celebrated his 2nd birthday with a bash at his house, and Gavin and I went with Juliet and Benjamin. Unfortunately, Benjamin was a little sick, so we only stayed a few minutes before going home where we had lots of fun playing.

April Was...Grandparents

We can't ever say thank you enough to our grandparents who came up to Dallas to take care of us so that Mommy and Daddy could work. Thank you!

Po-Po and Gong-Gong
Mommy's parents came to watch us the first week of April. We got lots of cuddle and play time in while they were here.

Nai-Nai and Ye-Ye
Nai-Nai and Ye-Ye stayed for the rest of April; yay for retired grandparents! I cooked with Nai-Nai, and they took us grocery shopping, too.

April Was...Easter

We celebrated lots of Easter-related events this year.

Egg Hunt at School
We had our annual egg hunt. This year, it was held inside because the weather was a little bit questionable. Sofia's mommy made me a basket; I was especially excited about the shovel that came with it!

Easter Bunny at Swimming
I'm doing a really good job swimming. I can now swim the width of the pool all by myself and float on my back. The teachers all say that I'm doing a great job, and next semester, I'll be in XTREME Waterbabies!

Egg Hunt with Jacob at his School
Jacob invited me to go to an easter festival at his school. In addition to an egg hunt with lots of other kids our age and even more eggs, I got my very first face painting and my very first pony ride. I loved both. I did NOT love my very first visit with the Easter Bunny ... peering at him under the sign was enough for me.

Get-Together at Our House
We had some of my friends come over for an egg hunt at our place. I made it a little difficult for Mommy as she was hiding eggs in the yard because I kept following her and picking them up.

Of course, there are more pictures than these, so please visit my April album online!
